Today I walked through downtown San Francisco, in the pouring rain. It felt nice and relaxing. It was funny to see people fighting against the wind, struggling to keep their cheap umbrellas up, while trying to catch public transportation. That is a lot of multi-tasking.
Sucking up all the excess oil in my hair, refreshing, brightening, removing all product build-up, giving me volume and texture!
I may never have to wash my hair again. Obviously I’m just kidding about never washing my hair that would be gross, but we don’t always have time to wash are hair and sometimes washing it too much strips your color and dries out your hair. Dry shampoo is a good alternative just in case. Below are some of my favorite. I can’t choose which one I like the best so hard lol
This amazing collage work was created by French Illustrator, Julien Pacaud. Clients include Nike, Swatch, Le Monde and MIT News. Before becoming an illustrator, he was “an astrophysician, an international snooker player, a hypnotist and an esperanto teacher.” He hopes that someday “I can have enough free time to devote myself to my real passion: time travel.” More of Julien’s work
This stuff is amazing. I feel more energetic before I am even done with one bottle! The flavors are fantastic! I highly recommend this drink, especially in the middle of the afternoon when a nap comes to mind. I recommend everyone to have their daily dose of Chia.

What is Mamma Chia?
For health-conscious individuals seeking an extra dose of vitality, Mamma Chia is the undeniable drink of choice. Infused with ancient wisdom and powered by the “world’s healthiest whole food,” Mamma Chia seeds the soul with a unique and powerful formula. Mamma Chia pairs the highest quality organic chia seeds with delicious organic fruit juices and lightly sweetens them with organic agave nectar. The pleasing appearance of the chia seeds suspended throughout the beverage adds a very compelling quality. Mamma Chia is an amazing source of brain- and heart-healthy Omega-3, powerful antioxidants and balanced fiber, as well as complete protein, calcium and magnesium. It all adds up to a vital force that delivers the power to live the life you’ve always wanted.
What is the story behind chia?
Consumed as early as 3,000 B.C., chia seeds were eaten as a grain, mixed with water and consumed as a beverage, ground into flour, included in medicines, and pressed for omega-3 oil. The seed offers a complete nutritional profile of omega-3, balanced dietary fiber, complete protein, antioxidants, and vitamins and minerals.
These healthy, edible seeds are a better source of omega-3 fatty acids than flaxseed (the fats protect against inflammation and heart disease). Chia seeds come from the desert plant Salvia hispanica, a member of the mint family that grows in Central and South America.
In pre-Columbian times, chia seeds were a component of the Aztec and Mayan diets and the basic survival ration of Aztec warriors; they even played a role in religious ceremonies. One tablespoon of the seeds was considered capable of sustaining a warrior for 24 hours. In fact chia is the Aztec word for strength.
Today chia is even credited with giving the famous long distance runners of the Tarahumara Mexico their extraordinary stamina
The Aztecs also used chia medicinally to relieve joint pain and skin conditions. It was a major crop in central and southern Mexico well into the 16th century, but it was banned after the Spanish conquest because of its association with the Aztec “pagan” religion. Over the past few decades, commercial production has resumed in Latin America.
– How does the drinking experience compare to other beverages?
Mamma Chia is fun for your mouth, great for your body! The flavors are familiar lightly sweetened fruit blends –crisp and refreshing. The texture for most people is new experience –somewhere between a food and beverage. Some folks have told us it has the nostalgic feeling of drinking Jello TM before it has fully set or that it reminds them of bubble tea. It can take the brain a few seconds to figure out how to drink it. While it is fine to chew a bit as you are savoring the beverage in your mouth it is not necessary to do so in order to derive benefit from the nutrients. Sip or gulp or chew it’s up to you!
Why does Mamma Chia taste or look slightly different from bottle to bottle?
While our sourcing and manufacturing specifications are very strict, Mamma Chia is a living organic beverage and is subject to minor variations in taste and color dictated by nature.
